Well despite a few delays, the NS310 has been on the market for a few weeks now and as a result, reviews are starting to flood the internet. The outlook looks fairly good, with most reviews being glowing and the remainder still being positive about both it’s performance and value. The Samsung NS310 has finally been made available to UK buyers. You can only buy it from one site currently though, the QVC UK site. They have stock in both the blue and pink options, and are selling it for the bargain price of £345 – much better than was expected after it was released on the content for almost four hundred euros.
This version of the NS310 comes loaded with the dual core Intel Atom processor (as expected) and 1GB RAM. It also has Windows 7 starter installed and Norton Internet Security to keep you safe when online.

After months of waiting, the Samsung NS310 has finally been released! It’s available in Europe from fnac.com online, priced at €399. Now that it’s hit Europe, it won’t be long before it’s available over here, so stay tuned for further updates on UK availability.
Speaking at a recent conference, Kyuho Uhm, Senior Vice President of the IT Solutions Business at Samsung Electronics, had the following to say about the NS310:
“Samsung’s NS310 is for crafted users who value both appearance and function. The netbook is portable and features an eye-catching design coupled with a SuperBright LED display. It is a great example of a product in Samsung’s netbook portfolio that is carefully designed with user experience in mind.”
“Anyone looking to express their own sense of fashion, but who also wants to simplify their life on the move, will appreciate the premium quality design and performance of the Samsung Netbook NS310.”
“With its cool designer finish, clear high definition display, extensive battery life and enhanced usability, the Netbook NS310 has everything you need to go out in real style.”
He also dropped that it would be available from March, so it looks like it won’t be long to wait before it’s on the shelves! There’ll be more information coming when the exact date is released or we spot it on the shelves!
Samsung have now announced that the NS310 will initially be available in 3 colours. The initial range will consist of silver, blue and fuschia – so there’ll be something for everyone! Of course all colours will be in a glossy finish and have the oversize Samsung logo embossed on the front. We’ll get some photos up as soon as they are made available.

The N310 was a great netbook, and a stand out performer in its time. The NS310 has really moved on though, with the key differences being as follows:
The NS310 has a far superior battery life, as one of the key problems with the N310 was the battery life, which only lasted a few hours. Not so with the NS310, which appears to be more in the league of the excellent NC10 with its long lasting battery that’s officially supposed to last a whopping 12 hours.
The NS310 offers 90GB more hard drive space than its predecessor, a massive improvement that you’ll really notice!
The duo core processor makes it around 20% faster than the single core Intel Atom processor used on the N310.
The N310 wasn’t for all, with its rubberized exterior. The NS310 is much slicker in the looks department and comes in a range of colours so should appeal to a wider audience.
Overall, the NS310 is a significant step on. You get a lot more bang for your buck than you did with its predecessor, and you’d be hard pushed to beat the performance it offers in this price bracket.
